Sturdy, tough, waterproof, and a bit clunky - I bought the Clark's Strait as a bad-weather, sturdy shoe that I could also wear to work. It's not a shoe you'd buy for its style, and it's a bit heavy for business dress (at least in contrast with most leather soled shoes). On the other hand, it is light for souch a tough shoe, really weatherproof, and the soles easily handle broken pavement and puddles (something that really helps where I live). Plus, it's from Clark's, so the quality is great. |
